Under the canopy of the Sharjah night sky and fired from the Khalid lagoon at the brightly-lit corniche, a spectacular fireworks show takes centre-stage. The occasion: 2nd day's carnival festivities of the Sharjah Water Festival where thousands of visitors come to experience the festival's fun and frolic fare.
